Head coach for our JOAD Club with over 25 advanced youth archers. Marcy is also the Virginia State Coordinator for USA Archery. If you have any questions or concerns about USA Archery please contact Marcy to get your answers. Marcy feels that archery is a great sport for anyone of any age and any athletic ability. Archery allows people to compete in a group or alone and is a great confidence builder. She enjoys introducing new people to the sport of archery. Marcy currently shoots Mathews TRX 38 and TRX 34 target bows with Axcel Achieve Sight, AAE Pro Blade Rest, AAE Hot Rodz Stabilizer System and Stanislawski Element Heavy Metal back tension release. Her arrow of choice are the Victory 23 for Indoors and the Victory VAPS for outdoors. Marcy was selected to Represent Mathews Inc as Regional Pro Staff in 2014-2019 She is a member of Mathews Factory Pro Staff for 2019 Marcy's acomplishments include: 2017 United States Archery Team USAT. Gold Medal at JMU Indoor Nationals 2017 Bronze Medal, Outdoor Nationals/US Open 2016 Gold Medal, Indoor Nationals @ JMU 2016 Bronze Medal 2016 Outdoor Nationals Decatur, AL Silver Medal in 2015 National Target Championship Silver Medal in 2015 US Open, Decatur, Alabama National Champion, Gold Medal winner, US Open 2014 Bronze Medal, National Target Championships, 2014. ASA State Champion, 2012-2013-2014 IBO State Champion for 2008, 2010 ASA Women's Virginia State Shooter of the Year 2010 & 2011 Level 4-NTS USA Archery Certified Coach. Rob Reese
Rob is the owner of Virginia Archery Center and a great bow technician. He can troubleshoot your bow and get it back the way it should be. You can usually find him here in the shop as he doesn't usually attend tournaments. but, don't let that fool you. Rob is a great shot with either his compound bow or his recurve.
Rob has been an avid hunter and archer for over 35 years. Rob received his first recurve bow, a Fred Bear, at the age of 14. In 1986 he bought his first compound bow. In 1988 he shot archery in college. In 2001 Rob became a certified Easton Arrow Smith. He also has received his technical archery certifications from the George Chapman Technical School as well as Bowtech University factory technical training in Oregon. Rob and his wife Marcy attend Archery trade shows each year to keep up with new product releases and technologies as well as manufacturer innovations and trends. He carefully studies and learns about new products and how they can benefit his customers. A product must prove worthy for us to carry it in our shop. Rob is a perfectionist when it comes to his customers equipment and wants them to have the best tools for the right job. Guiding buyers on their purchase will insure our customers success in the field or on the range. Rob currently shoots a Mathews Halon and his Sky Archery recurve. Customers come first here at HNS Archery. Rob believes in total honesty when it comes to customers and their equipment, if it can be fixed, Rob will fix it. Ward Burton
We are very proud to have Indianapolis 500 Winner Ward Burton as part of our Hunt'n'Shak Staff.
Wards organization, the Ward Burton Wildlife Foundation is our chosen charity. Offering great opportunities for Wounded Warriors and all those who serve their country. Being able to work with Ward and spend time with the Heroes is a very fulfilling endeavor that we at HNS Archery consider a priveledge. Joe Caverlee, Bling Sling Staff

We are very proud to have Joe Caverlee representing our products. If you have never heard of Joe, he is a very talented musician, member of Bowtech Archery Pro Staff and plays fiddle for country music singer Tracy Lawrence. While he travels with the band on tour he proudly sports his Bling Sling Pro Staff shirt for all to see. (see picture) Joe is an avid bowhunter and great archer. When he is in Virginia he always stops by the shop to visit and shoot his bow with us. We are very honored to have Joe as part of the Bling Sling team. |
